Our employee Jens Einert took on the challenge of the "Stoneman Miriquidi", completed the course in one day and received his stone in gold. His training? Cycling to work as often as possible.
"Stoneman Miriquidi" in gold. That means covering a distance of 170.4 km, 4,400 metres of altitude, through 2 countries and over 9 peaks in one day - biking, pushing, carrying. With a total time of 11:15 hours. We say congratulations for this achievement and all the best for the next challenges.
The route of the "Stoneman Miriquidi" leads through the deep forests of the Ore Mountains, through Germany's highest town - the spa town of Oberwiesenthal, along the idyllic Cranzahl dam and the Bärenstein, the characteristic basalt columns on the Pöhlberg and Scheibenberg, the TrailCenter Rabenberg, the Auersberg, the high moor "Kleiner Kranichsee", over the peaks of the Blatenský vrch (Plattenberg), the Plešivec, the 1. 244 metre high Klínovec (Keilberg, the highest peak in the Ore Mountains) and the Fichtelberg (Saxony's highest mountain at 1,215 metres).
